Add or Delete Tags on Data Connections

Overview

Tags can also be added on data connections.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor'.
  • Document is in draft stage.
  • System administrator or tag manager has created tags in the system.
  • Platform Configuration: The Tag and Connection features are enabled

Steps

Add a Tag on Data Connection:

  1. Select a paragraph with a connection.
  2. Click on the connections icon on the right sidebar.
  3. Click on the Paragraph tab.
  4. Click on the paragraph preview.
  5. (Optional): Double click on the info icon on the right side to close the sidebar.
  6. Click on the connection icon next to the related paragraph in the document on the left side.
  7. Find the connected paragraph in the document on the right side.
  8. Hover the mouse over the connected paragraph on the right side.
  9. Click Tags.
  10. Start typing a tag's name.
  11. Select a tag from the suggested list.
  12. (Optional): Add one or more tags.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Click Save on the bottom left side of the document on the left.

Delete a Tag from a Data Connection:

  1. Select a paragraph with a connection.
  2. Click on the connections icon on the right sidebar.
  3. Click on the Paragraph tab.
  4. Click on the paragraph preview.
  5. (Optional): Double click on the info icon on the right side to close the sidebar.
  6. Click on the connection icon next to the related paragraph in the document on the left side.
  7. Find the connected paragraph in the document on the right side.
  8. Click on the tag's name in the document on the right side.
  9. Click on the x icon next to the tag.
  10. (Optional): Remove one or more tags.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Click Save on the bottom left side of the document on the left.
