Configure your Task Email Notifications

Overview
When it comes to tasks, there are 3 types of email notifications:
- Task assigned
- Task comment created
- Task state changed
You can configure these 3 types of email notifications to be sent either immediately or never.
Pre-conditions
- System level permissions (any): 'Edit Documents', 'System Administration', 'Create Documents', 'Create Templates', 'Report Viewer', 'Manage Modifications', 'Document Manager'
- Platform Configuration: The Tasks feature has to enabled
- Users can still configure their task notification settings, just that the emails will not send when their corresponding events occur.
Steps
- Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Email notifications tab.
- Tick or untick any of the following email notification settings:
- Task assigned;
- Task comment created;
- Task state changed.
