Configure your Task Email Notifications

Overview

When it comes to tasks, there are 3 types of email notifications:

  • Task assigned
  • Task comment created
  • Task state changed

You can configure these 3 types of email notifications to be sent either immediately or never.

Pre-conditions

  • System level permissions (any): 'Edit Documents', 'System Administration', 'Create Documents', 'Create Templates', 'Report Viewer', 'Manage Modifications', 'Document Manager'
  • Platform Configuration: The Tasks feature has to enabled
    • Users can still configure their task notification settings, just that the emails will not send when their corresponding events occur.

Steps

  1. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select the Email notifications tab.
  4. Tick or untick any of the following email notification settings:
    • Task assigned;
    • Task comment created;
    • Task state changed.
