Overview
What it is
Clausematch has design-system foundations for a readable dark interface across Policy Management, the Policy Portal and the Admin Panel. These foundations support contrast-aware presentation without providing an end-user theme-selection workflow.
How it behaves
- When the dark theme is enabled in the delivered environment, text and controls use colours designed to remain legible against dark backgrounds.
- Semantic status colours remain distinguishable so that status information can be recognised.
- Keyboard focus indicators use contrast-aware colours to make the active control identifiable.
- Light mode retains its established appearance.
Notes
- This is foundational work towards EN 301 549 v3.2.1, requirement 11.7, concerning user preferences for colour and contrast.
- It is not fully supported for that requirement and is not a claim of complete accessibility compliance.
- Automatic adoption of a browser or device colour preference, a user-facing switch and a saved theme choice are not included.
- There is no end-user activation procedure for these foundations. Do not treat implementation-level theme activation as an available user setting.
