Export Links in Document Content

Overview

Links, whether they are internal within Clausematch or external to other websites, that are spread across your document can be exported, allowing you to identify which links need updating.

This ensures that your document content remains current, avoiding redirects to archived documents or unavailable resources and maintaining the integrity and relevance of your shared information.

The following columns are present in the links export to provide more detail about each link:

  • Document name.
  • Connected document name.
  • Link name.
  • Link URL.
  • Link type.
  • Paragraph URL.
  • Paragraph number.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor', 'Reviewer'
  • System Level Permission: 'Edit Documents', 'Create Documents', 'Document Manager', 'System Administration'

Steps

  1. Click on the icon on the left.
  2. Switch to the links tab.
  3. Click Export.

Supplementary Information

Links from all documents

If you need information about all links from all documents, please submit your request to your Customer Success Manager.

It contains the following information:

  • Document ID.
  • Document URL.
  • Title.
  • Version.
  • Released.
  • Archived.
  • Paragraph URL.
  • Link URL.
  • Link Title.

Link Types

Links in document content can be categorized into the following types:

  • Internal - Link to a paragraph/document within Clausematch. This can be of the same document the link is contained in or another document in the platform.
  • External - Link to a webpage outside of Clausematch.
