Overview: Approvals
If any document must be approved by stakeholders prior to publication, users can set up the approval process in Clausematch.
Document owners and editors can add approvers to a document. The approver then gets an email notification with a link to the document and the instructions on how to review and approve.
The approver will need to review the changes and either approve or reject the document or paragraph(s).
Approvers can be individual users or user groups. In the latter case, any member of the user group approves on behalf of the whole group.
User groups need to be pre-set in advance by the system administrators.
A document can neither be released nor moved to the next stage if there are any pending approvals or rejections in place.
