      Release 2023 Q1

      Introduction

      This quarter release includes release versions 113, 114, & 115.

      It contains the following:

      New features

      1. Content Management

      1.1 Filter the activities timeline to show only relevant activities

      You can now filter the document activity timeline by date.

      This is on top of the existing options to filter by activity type and user.

      Use case:

      • Easy navigation of activities that meet specific date criteria

      Note: The activities timeline, labelled “Timeline” in previous versions, is now called “Activities” instead (see below).

      1.2 Export activities data for report-building & evidence collection

      You can now export the following activities for any selected version of a document as a CSV report: access (granted, changed, or updated), document or paragraph approval (created, approved, or rejected) and stage changed. Filters applied to the timeline apply to the CSV too.

      Use case:

      • Internal and external reporting of specific document activities

      Dependencies and downstream impacts:

      • N/A

      Feature Behavior:

      • Only certain activities are included in the export

      (a) Export the version you’re currently viewing via the sidebar

      2. System Administration

      2.1 User-friendly metadata creation and management in the Admin Panel

      System Administrators now have a more user-friendly interface for creating & managing custom metadata fields in the Admin Panel. This feature will enable:

      • Easier navigation of the list of custom fields with the introduction of tables
      • Guidance text on the different custom field types to provide greater context
      • Improved UI with clearly defined steps to complete

      NOTE: As part of metadata rebuild, the document types metadata filter in the compliance dashboard has been removed.

      Content Management

      Important bugs that were fixed

      Document Editor

      • Fixed a bug that caused pending deletion formatting not to be applied in an exported file

      • Fixed a bug that caused not all documents to be downloaded after starting several export operations in one tab

      • Fixed a bug that caused cloning and importing big documents (>3000 paragraphs) to slow down performance

      • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect table structure after DOCX Upload

      • Fixed a bug that caused actions “reorder snippets” and “convert snippet into paragraphs” not to be reflected on the Table Of Contents sidebar

      • Fixed a bug that caused paragraph numbers for pending deleted paragraphs and headings not to be colored red

      • Fixed a bug that caused disabled users to be mentionable on the Document activity sidebar

      • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to copy more than one text line from a table without copying a cell

      • Fixed a bug that caused metadata deadline notifications not to be sent for owner of the document created from template

      • Fixed a bug that caused metadata deadline notification not to be sent for owner of the document clone

      • Fixed an incident that caused various actions/updates (e.g changing document name, archiving document, etc...) to lag
      • Fixed an incident that caused 20+ second document opening time

      • Fixed an incident that caused users with 'Never' metadata deadline notification to still receive email notification
