Overview

Find more information on how to add an approver to a document or paragraph in Clausematch.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor', 'Reviewer'.
  • The user to be added as an approver must have access to the document with any of the following document roles - OwnerEditor or Reviewer.
  • The document type of the document has had its Approvals feature enabled.
    • The type can be confirmed to the left of the version number and document title.
      Contact an administrator if you believe this needs to be changed.

Steps

Add Approver to a Document:

  1. Click on the Document activity icon on the right sidebar.
  2. Select Approvals.
  3. Start entering the approver’s name.
  4. Select the user or user group as a paragraph approver*.

Add Approver to a Paragraph:

  1. Click on a paragraph.
  2. Click on the Paragraph Activity icon on the right sidebar.
  3. Click Approvals.
  4. Start entering the approver’s name.
  5. Select the user or user group as a paragraph approver*.

Notes

  • The approver will receive an email notification with a link to the document and the instructions on how to review and approve.
  • Once the approver either approves or rejects, you'll receive an email notification with this status update as well any note they might have left.
