Overview

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner'
  • System Level Permission: 'Create Documents', 'Edit Documents', 'Document Manager', 'Create Templates', 'System Administration'

Steps

  1. Find the document on the dashboard.
  2. Click on a three-dot icon on the far right.
  3. Select Archive.
  4. Click Yes.

Notes

  • The document will be moved to the Archived collection.
  • If the document was published on the Policy Portal, the document will effectively be unpublished and thus won't show to any user on the Policy Portal.
    • By this same token, if the document gets restored, the most recently published version shows again.
  • All of the following are removed/unlinked:
    • connections
    • categories and documents
  • Users will no longer be able to access the archived document nor will they see it on their dashboards.
  • Users will stop receiving any notifications about the document.
