Overview
Find more information on how to archive (soft-delete) a document in Clausematch.

Pre-conditions
- Document Level Permission: 'Owner'
- System Level Permission: 'Create Documents', 'Edit Documents', 'Document Manager', 'Create Templates', 'System Administration'
Steps
- Find the document on the dashboard.
- Click on a three-dot icon on the far right.
- Select Archive.
- Click Yes.
Notes
- The document will be moved to the Archived collection.
- If the document was published on the Policy Portal, the document will effectively be unpublished and thus won't show to any user on the Policy Portal.
- By this same token, if the document gets restored, the most recently published version shows again.
- All of the following are removed/unlinked:
- connections
- categories and documents
- Users will no longer be able to access the archived document nor will they see it on their dashboards.
- Users will stop receiving any notifications about the document.
