Configure Platform Interface Languages for your Users

Overview
Select languages that are available for your platform users to select from to affect the text that appears on their interface.
They can select their platform language in either the login page or their user settings.
Languages available to show or hide:
- English (US)
- Italian
- German
- French
- Platform languages are different from dictionaries and spellcheck languages.
Pre-conditions
- System Level Permission: 'System Administration'
- This interface feature is enabled for your platform.
- Submit an enable request to your Customer Success Manager or the Support Team through the Ticket Form.
Steps
- Open Platform Configuration with the appropriate administrative access.
- Enable or disable by toggling on or off the master toggle.

- Select or deselect languages to be made available/unavailable.
- Select which language is the default.
- Click Apply changes to save.
Notes
- At least one language must remain available, and the default must belong to that set.
- System metadata labels, document-filter labels and options, and collections are not yet translated and may remain in English.
- An interface message without a translation falls back to English.
- A browser, local or account preference outside the available set falls back to the default without overwriting the saved account preference.
- Document content, metadata values and comments are not translated.
- Right-to-left languages are not supported by this capability.
