Overview

Find more information on how to edit tables in Clausematch.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor'.

Steps

Use the right-click menu to edit tables:

  1. Select Table styles:
    • Select Cells background color to change the colour of selected cell(s). Then select Set default color (under the colour palette) to revert this change.
    • Select Remove table borders to make the table borders transparent.
    • Select Reset table borders to remove table borders.
 2.   Select Insert to add new columns and rows.

 3.   Select Delete to remove a row, column or the entire table. These deletions cannot be undone.

 4.   Select Merge cells to merge multiple cells.

 5.   Select Split cell to reset merge.

 6.   Select Alignments to align text in a row or column to the leftright or centre.

 7.   Select Table details to specify the table title which will appear in the Table of Contents.

  8.  Select Paste to either keep or remove source formatting.

Keyboard Shortcuts

When editing a table, you can avail of our keyboard shortcuts to quickly perform table editing actions such as merging cells or adding another row.

You can view these shortcuts in the editor by clicking on the 4-arrow button on the left side of the document content.
