Overview

Clausematch editor offers the ability to easily hyperlink any text by copying and pasting a URL into it.

This intention to make URL pasting feel more intuitive has also extended into the Clausematch editor's ability to automatically hyperlink a URL when it is copied on no text.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor'.

Steps

Insert Hyperlink Text:

  1. Copy the URL.
  2. Highlight the text.
  3. Paste the URL.

Insert Hyperlink URL:

  1. Copy the URL.
  2. Paste the URL.

Insert Hyperlink URL/Text:

  1. Click on Insert.
  2. Click on Link.
  3. Update Text to display or URL.
  4. (Optional): (De)select Open in new window.
  5. Click Save.

Edit Hyperlink Text:

  1. Click on text with hyperlink.
  2. Click on pencil icon Edit Link.
  3. Update Text to display or URL.
  4. (Optional): (De)select Open in new window.
  5. Click Save.

Edit Hyperlink URL:

  1. Click on hyperlink URL.
  2. Click on pencil icon Edit Link.
  3. Update Text to display or URL.
  4. (Optional): (De)select Open in new window.
  5. Click Save.

Delete Hyperlink Text:

  1. Click on text with hyperlink.
  2. Click on bin icon Delete Link & Text.

Delete Hyperlink URL:

  1. Click on hyperlink URL.
  2. Click on bin icon Delete Link & Text.
