Overview
You can view the document's existing data connections through a simple and intuitive side-bar to help you define the impact of document changes, identify gaps between compliance documents and improve cross-document collaboration.
On top of the document content there would be a banner showing all of the document's data connections as well as the ability to create a data connection.
Clicking on any connection in the banner brings up the Connections tab in the right sidebar, which consists of 2 sub-tabs:

You can request access to the document by clicking on Request access field. - If the document is archived, all of the connections get removed.
- Restoring the document does not restore the connections.
- For the document filter, this can be affected depending on whether the Document Type feature is enabled/disabled on your instance.
- By default this feature is disabled.
To request this feature to be enabled, please contact Clausematch Support at support@clausematch.com.
- By default this feature is disabled.
Data Connections
- If Document A has an ongoing data connection to a template, and a DOCX file is used to upload Document B that is assigned to that same template, then Document A will automatically have a data connection to Document B created.
- The uploader will be who the system chooses to be behind the automatic data connection creation.
