Release 2025 Q4 - Fixes (detailed)

The fixes from Release 2025.4 are detailed on this supplementary page.

Details for each fix are: pre-conditions, steps to reproduce, expected result, dependencies and downstream impacts, and support request (ticket) IDs (if applicable).

 

      • Policy Management
        • Fixed an issue where copy pasting images from different sources didn't work
        • Fixed an issue where pasting text into documents resulted in "undefined" text
        • Fixed an issue where not all comments appeared in DOCX exports
        • Fixed an issue where an error was returned when exporting Portal documents that contained in their titles a special character
        • Fixed an issue where after re-drafting document, locked parent paragraphs moved by template leave their child paragraphs behind
        • Fixed an issue where Document Type configuration for Portal (list/table view, columns, etc) was not applied
        • Fixed an issue where automation trigger was not automatically created for duplicate rule
        • Fixed an issue where template latest version's locked paragraphs did not have their order reflected in documents
        • Fixed an issue where mandatory stages may have been skipped via 'Show Workflow' on Released Documents 
        • Fixed an issue where portal metadata panel was moved from right pane to above content section

Policy Management

    • Fixed an issue where copy pasting images from different sources didn't work.
      • Pre-conditions:
        • Image to be copied from is within any of the following sources:
          • DOCX
          • Image Preview
          • Webpage
      • Steps to reproduce:

        1. Copy image.

        2. Paste through any of the following methods:
          1. Ctrl+V
          2. Right-click, and select any the Paste options
      • Expected result:
        • Image is pasted successfully

        1. Create new document.

        2. Add paragraph.

        3. Type some text in paragraph.

        4. Copy text from another application (e.g. MS Excel)

        5. Select part of paragraph text.

        6. Click Ctrl+V.

      • Expected result:
        • Highlighted paragraph text is replaced by pasted in text from other application.

      • Steps to reproduce:
        1. Draft template.

        2. Move locked parent paragraphs elsewhere in the content.
        3. Release template.
        4. Re-draft document from release.

        • Locked documents paragraphs are automatically moved along with their child paragraphs.

        2. Configure view for this Document Type in Policy Portal > Set list view and add some additional fields > Save.

           

        3. Create and release document with this new Document Type.

        4. Check display for document type collection in Policy Portal.

        5. Change view for document type to table and configure some other columns then default ones > Save document type.

        6. Check display for document type collection in Policy Portal.

        • Document type configuration for PP view is correctly reflected in Portal.

          Third paragraph - Locked

        2. Create document from this template.

        3. Create new version of template.

        4. Select Second paragraph with its child and move them above First paragraph

        5. Release template

        6. Check document created from template

          1. Custom mandatory, no approver.

          2. Custom optional.

          3. Review stage - mandatory with approver.

        2. Release template.

        3. Create document from template.

        4. Move document through all stages to release.

        5. Click to open dropdown near create new version > click on show workflow > pick optional stage > confirm.

        6. Check next forms and actions.

      • Expected result:
        • Unable to move to a prior stage within the same version.

      • Steps to reproduce:

        1. Set for Default position of Metadata Panel setting option On the right sidebar on Platform configuration page/Policy Management > Save.

        2. Open paper-based document on PP > Check metadata panel.

        3. Set for Default position of Metadata Panel setting option On top of the Document on Platform configuration page/Policy Management > Save.

        4. Open paper-based document on PP > Check metadata panel.

      • Expected result:
        • Policy Management configuration does not affect Policy Portal.

          Default value for metadata panel position for Portal is on the right sidebar.

Policy Portal

  • Fixed an issue where Policy Portal metadata panel's default location mirrored the one of Policy Management.
    • Pre-conditions:
      • User testing hasn't set their Portal document's metadata panel location default to be on top of the content section.
      • Admin Panel > Platform Configuration: Policy Management Metadata Panel's Default Location is set to Side Pane.
    • Steps to reproduce:
      1. Go in to Admin Panel > Platform Configuration.

      2. Change Policy Management Metadata Panel's Default Location to be on top of the content section.
      3. Visit with user tester on any Portal document.
    • Expected result:
      • Portal document's metadata panel default location is unaffected by its Policy Management counterpart.
