Overview

When copying content from/to the Clausematch editor, browser settings have to grant clipboard access to Clausematch.

Find more information on how to ensure that browser settings are correct before pasting any content into the Clausematch editor*.

Pre-conditions

  • Browser used: Google Chrome.

Steps

  1. Open Google Chrome. 
  2. Click the three vertical dots icon to the right of the browser search bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Type Site settings.
  5. Click on Site settings.
  6. Expand the Additional permissions section.
  7. Click on Clipboard.
  8. Ensure that the Default behavior is Sites can ask to see text and images on your clipboard.
  9. Remove any Clausematch site in the Not allowed to see your clipboard list.

Notes

  • Clausematch has a backup feature that even if no clipboard access has been granted to the Clausematch site, it stores the most recent content copied from a Clausematch site. That most recent content is then what is pasted into the Clausematch site.
