Overview

Find more information on how to insert a snippet in Clausematch.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor'.
  • For a snippet to be inserted into a document or template:
    • users have to have access to a snippet;
    • snippet has been released.

Steps

  1. Open the document or template* where a snippet should be added.
  2. Click Insert.
  3. Select Snippet.
  4. Select a snippet to add or search for it.
  5. Select the correct location by clicking on Insert snippet here*.

Supplementary Information

The snippet menu on the left-hand side allows users to:

  •  Open the snippet document;
  •  Move a snippet into a new location in the same document;
  •  Replace selected snippet with another one;
  •  Convert a snippet into regular paragraph(s). Snippet enforcement will not be applied to snippets converted to regular paragraph(s);
  •  Remove a snippet from a document or template.

Notes

  • To work with templates, users need to have special access rights.
  • Snippets can only be inserted as top level paragraphs, i.e. a snippet cannot be a sub-paragraph.
