Overview

When copying and pasting multiple paragraphs from a non-Clausematch* editor to the Clausematch editor, it is possible to either paste each one of them as a separate Clausematch paragraph or all of them into the already selected Clausematch paragraph.

When pasting multiple paragraphs in the Clausematch editor, it is possible to perform one of the following actions:

  • retain the source's formatting;
  • use the current Clausematch paragraph's formatting.

It is also optional to select either formatting option for the default pasting, as well as keep displaying or hiding the pasting options whenever a user pastes multiple paragraphs into a Clausematch document.

Pre-conditions

  • Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor'.

Steps

  1. Copy multiple paragraphs.
  2. Locate where in the document content the paragraphs should be pasted into.
  3. Click on the location.
  4. Paste the multiple paragraphs.
  5. Right click and click on Paste and choose any of the following:
    • Keep source formatting*;

Notes

  • It is not possible to select multiple paragraphs on Clausematch editor.
  • If a paragraph is pasted from a non-Clausematch editor and there is no such font style in Clausematch, and the paragraph you are pasting into has “Normal” text styling, then the pasted text will also have “Normal” text style applied.
  • If a paragraph is pasted from a non-Clausematch editor and there is no such font style in Clausematch, and the paragraph you are pasting into has “Heading” text styling, then the pasted text will not have the “Heading” text style applied. Instead, it will have the “Default” normal style applied.
