Overview

A category is considered a data element that is associated with documents so it is reportable and searchable. Categories are used to organize documents as a taxonomy or hierarchy and can be thought of as a folder-like structure with enhanced functionality.

  • Categories can be added, edited or deleted at anytime.
  • Documents can be assigned to one or more categories.
  • Parent-level categories created in the Policy Management module have the option to be visible or hidden in the Policy Portal module.
