Overview

Users and their activities for any paragraph are tracked under the Paragraph Activity tab, which essentially serves as an audit trail of what has transpired across the paragraph's timeline.

Pre-conditions

• Document Level Permission: 'Owner', 'Editor, 'Reviewer'.

Steps

View Paragraph Changes:

1. Find and click on the document on the dashboard to open it.
2. Click on the selected paragraph.
3. Click on the paragraph activity icon* on the right hand side.

Compare Document Versions:

1. Find the document on the dashboard.
2. Click Compare versions* in the upper part of the editor.
3. Select older version for comparison.

Supplementary Information

Compare versions functionality allows users to compare the current document version with any of the previously published versions.

Paragraph activity functionality allows users to monitor all edits, comments and approvals on a paragraph level.

• In the Document Activity tab, click on a paragraph preview to be redirected to the selected paragraph and view detailed changes.
• Use the event and user filters to adjust the activities displayed:

• • Click Show and select Everything or choose from the specific events:

• • • Connections;
    • Paragraph changes;
    • Paragraph comments;
    • Paragraph events;
    • Suggestions;
    • Tags.
• Click By and select All users and select specific users.
• Click Any Date and select dates.

Table Edits

• Table content edits are also tracked.*
  • Structural changes (e.g. remove cell, widen border) are not tracked.
